BOCCA is a geometric display font, loosely inspired by retro-typography and modular typefaces. It’s development was a quick experiment in creating legible characters from the basic shapes of the square and the circle.

Each character began as square, from which circles were cut out to making mouth like orifices. Latter in development the triangle was introduced to allow for more variation, and improve legibility of the characters.
