A myriorama is a visual card game where a series of illustrated cards combine to form a picture, typically a landscape. Unlike a puzzle which has only one way to combine pieces, the cards in a myriorama can be arranged in any combination and still form a cohesive image. The game is to play with the cards and see what images they can create. For the imagery on my myriorama I chose to use faces. Faces contain so much emotion, and when fragmented they become harder to read. I wanted to use the myriorama as a tool to fragment the faces, and also to recombine different faces together. Breaking down and remixing their emotions. While I only needed one, I ended up making several myrioramas.
