REDACTED is an imagined awareness campaign to make people question how their data is collected and used online. It was created for a university branding assignment, and as such fails to educate the audience on anything. The focus was on creating a unique set of visuals that made people feel uneasy, and to link this discomfort to their online presence. Some of the text was taken directly from the terms and conditions of Facebook and Instagram. Which horrifyingly revealed that even if you personally, don’t have a Facebook account, they will still try to collect information about you.
